Working With The Education Network…
The Education Network has an established client database and work with a range of clients in the following sectors: Primary, Secondary, Special Needs and Nurseries.
Supply teaching provides an opportunity to work on a flexible basis that suits your individual lifestyle and allows you to experience a range of different socio-economic teaching environments. The Education Network offers various ways of working within education, whatever stage your career may be at:
Daily Supply
This is the most flexible option, working in a variety of schools on an ad-hoc basis. Daily supply gives you the opportunity to work in various settings enabling you to decide which schools suit your teaching style and ethos.
Short Term Supply
This is an extension of daily supply, with work continuing in the same school fo up to half a term. This option gives greater insight into the roles and responsibilities of permanent staff members.
Long Term Supply
This involves working in a position in excess of half a term. This option involves undertaking the full responsibilities of a permanent member of staff, including curriculum planning and extra-curricular activities.
Permanent Work
This is often offered to teachers and support workers who have been working successfully on a long term supply basis. Alternatively, schools will request The Education Network to recruit permanent staff on their behalf.
At The Education Network you have access to a dedicated consultant who can advise on all aspects of supply teaching and who will offer you placements that are suited to your experience and stated preferences.
Getting Paid With The Education Network…
The Education Network operates on a timesheet basis. You must complete one timesheet per assignment per week. For example, if you’ve worked five days in one school you complete one timesheet. If you’ve worked five days in five different schools you need to complete five separate timesheets; one per school.
You’ll be paid on a weekly basis, each Friday, one week in arrears.
Each timesheet is printed specifically for the allocated assignment. For advance bookings, the timesheet will be posted to you to take to the school. For last minute bookings, the timesheet will be generated and faxed to school for you.
Please ensure that the timesheet is signed by yourself AND the school before returning it to The Education Network.
It is your responsibility to ensure that timesheets are completed and returned promptly. If we do not receive the completed timesheet on time, your pay may be delayed until we have verified that the work has been undertaken.
We recommend that you fax timesheets to us after each assignment on our free-fax number.
